This Presentation on IPv6 Deployment (PDF) was prepared by the Number Resource Organization (NRO). The NRO is comprised of the world’s five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) and is a member of the OECD Internet Technical Advisory Committee (ITAC).

The RIRs have collaborated to collect, analyse and make public global statistics on the deployment of Internet number resources (IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and Autonomous System (AS) Numbers) for several years. The RIRs are committed to supporting the OECD’s overall goal of encouraging the deployment of IPv6 and look forward to further cooperation on this and other related matters.

ITAC contribution on Innovation strategy – Interim Report SG/INNOV(2009)1

This work, resulting from the Ministers’ decision in 2007 to develop an Innovation Strategy to strengthen innovation performance and its contribution to growth, is proving to be extremely relevant in the current economic crisis and we applaud the quality of the first draft provided by the SG. However, we feel greater emphasis could be made of the changing nature of innovation today. It is proposed to deepen the analysis that is proposed in two directions:

ITAC supports the objective is this document that is to provide policymakers a broad-brush understanding of the various dimensions of Identity Management (IdM). We find very useful that it introduces in non-technical terms the basic concepts and issues raised by IdM, and points to additional sources where policymakers may gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
